Vegan Peanut Butter Raw Chocolate Rice Krispie Recipe These are so good- and actually, I made them what feels like forever ago (though it was maybe a month or so), but I still remember them fondly! I had been wanting to make rice krispies for forever, but I wasn't about to shell out $9 for a bag of organic rice crisp cereal. So, imagine my delight when I saw a big bag on sale for $5.99- immense! The universe told me that it was time to make rice krispies. You can definitely make this recipe by using brown rice syrup instead of barley malt syrup (to keep it gluten free), but the latter was on sale (score). So after standing at the check out, Googling whether or not one could make vegan rice krispies with barley malt, and thinking "What if this is my last day on earth a
Vegan Double Chocolate Peppermint Cookies When I was finishing up my first year of uni, I was sorting out what to do with my incredibly long stretch of academic-free freedom. Four months seemed like forever and I definitely needed the break after a gruelling first year at fancy business school. I'd organized a volunteer trip with a few friends and knew I would be working that summer, too. But I
raw truffles, coconut sugar sweetened, raw, organic, vegan, fair trade, delicious, fancy, chocolates- they are here! Hi Zimtees, Just wanted to share a bit of news with you- in case you haven't heard we now have some pretty fancy chocolates in our roster of already pretty fancy chocolates. I wanted to get these ones out in time for Valentine's Day, because, well apparently these sorts of treats are pretty popular this time of year. Background information, though, needs to be shared. This cake is healthy- it isn't gluten free (though I bet you could make it that way if you really wanted to do so), made with coconut sugar and coconut oil, and has Zimt all in it to make you happy. Oh, and zucchini. Speaking of which. Here is why zucchini is a good idea:
Want some very, very, very good chocolate? You've come to the right place. That "uh oh" batch of chocolate I posted about here, has been corrected and the result is delicious. Really, really, really delicious. [gallery ids="442,443,444"] And this was made possible by some rather talented and patient people. I wanted to take the opportunity to chat a bit about "who". There was an issue with the last batch- things were rushed and I didn't get a sample, as requested. The result was not good enough, and it had to be redone (it wasn't a tiny amount, either), which was a bit of a pain for all of us. That, I believe, is an example of a bit of a mess up. Nothing cat
