Zimt’s 2014 Lessons Learned

Oh there have been a few… Hey Zimtees, I hope your year was amazing! (Well, it should have been… we introduced our coconut crème filled truffles, after all! ;-) ). Zimt's year was pretty transitional, I must say. Here's a behind the scenes snapshot of how Zimt grew up a little more in 2014: 1. We got distributors: yeup, it is no longer just me or my mum, driving around in a Smart Car packed with chocolate (and no AC in the summer… what a combo), heading from retailer to retailer. We got some extra help from seasoned pros with trucks, many more connections to selling outlets than I have right now, and… AC. 2. I don't make too much product myself! Ecuador: Part 1

Part 1 of my travels to Ecuador   Hello, Zimtees! Or should I say, "Hola". =)   I am in Ecuador- if you've been following the FB page at all, you already know that! I arrived last Tuesday (I think) and it has been pretty non-stop up until this very point. Like with everything Zimt does, I play a pretty big role. It is not the easiest thing to take on, being responsible for food that is going to thousands of people (a little daunting), but I want to do the best job I can, at every step. Christmas with the Zimt Family

Why is December 24th my favourite day of the year? I remember as a little kid how I would be totally giddy with excitement about going to my Oma and Opa's house on December 24th- when we celebrate Christmas.
